Solitude
Laugh, and the world laughs with you;
Weep, and you weep alone.
For the sad old earth must borrow it's mirth,
But has trouble enough of its own.
Sing, and the hills will answer;
Sigh, it is lost on the air.
The echoes bound to a joyful sound,
But shrink from voicing care.
Rejoice, and men will seek you;
Grieve, and they turn and go.
They want full measure of all your pleasure,
But they do not need your woe.
Be glad, and your friends are many;
Be sad, and you lose them all.
There are none to decline your nectared wine,
But alone you must drink life's gall.
Feast, and your halls are crowded;
Fast, and the world goes by.
Succeed and give, and it helps you live,
But no man can help you die.
There is room in the halls of pleasure
For a long and lordly train,
But one by one we must all file on
Through the narrow aisles of pain.

I'm not afraid of being alone in a new place or with new people. In my head I always told my self: new place or new people maybe a little bit intimidating at first, but once you get to know the place/the people, you'll be okay.
And yes, I'm okay if I need to go to some place alone or having to meet new people alone. I guess there are many things that I'd like to do alone, I feel free, I feel relieved, I feel in charged for everything that I do, nobody tells me what to do or not do and no one can judge you like if you're with someone or in a group of people.
That's what I feel mostly after I came back to live in Geneva. Contrary to what people might think, I love being alone. I never felt lonely. I'm just enjoying it so much now. Maybe it's a contrast situation from where I came from where everyone loves to hang around and there's always someone around you, you never get the chance to be alone.
By being alone I can think more clearly, I can have a conversation with myself and I can have a more creative imagination .. and I can feel happier. That's a good thing of finally being alone with only my family now, I think ..
