Yesterday I had lunch with my junior school friends .. so many things to catch up in a very short time, so we made a plan to extend our reunion on the top of Singapore, at the 57th floor Sky Park at Marina Bay Sands at night. It's been on my "things to do before you leave" list that I should at least once stepped my feet on that top floor that is so famous. Just to experience the heights, the view, the ambiance.
So, I went to my friends' hotel at Thomson around 8pm and met them at the nearby cafe, they're having dinner. Around 9 pm we all went to Marina Bay Sands and asked the guards if we could all went up to the 57th floor. The guards said yes if you're the hotel guests or the KuDeTa (club/bar) guests and at least buy a drink. We nodded and went up. It was fast! suddenly we're at the top.
My first impression was, why there were so many guards and barriers? ... there's some places we couldn't crossed that's reserved for the hotel guest only, like the pool side. I wasn't too impressed, It's not like what I've imagined. So we only stayed a while to wait for another friend that would joined us that night and went to Clarke Quay, the girls wanted to drink. So they pick one cafe and ordered drinks. Around midnight I got a call from hubby asking where I was :-D ..
I said to the girls I should go home .. hehe .. I queued for a taxi and went back home ;-)
