Last week we had a long weekend due to CNY when all businesses were closed to welcoming the year of the rabbit. Office closed, school closed, supermarkets were also closed .. so why must we stay in this island? we decided to have a short holiday trip to our hometown.
We had to settle some things and we'd like to meet our families -- my brothers and my hubby's brothers together with their families (wife and kids). We heard some good news and some bad news too .. *sigh* still the same old story, my big bro is out of job again and I was sure it's because he didn't perform well on his job :-(
Every time we came to meet families, we often left with regrets .. why some things will never change .. like they say: families are like fudge, mostly sweet with a few nuts.
