HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!!
We've been so busy weeks before new year. We've moved to a temporary accommodation, a 3 bedroom serviced apartment near hubby's office & kids' school. Actually it's located just in front of our old place where we're living during 2007-2009. So, it's kinda funny moving into the area again.
Our stuffs had been packed into boxes and the mover took them all to their warehouse until it's time to be shipped out to Geneva. Last couple of days before we moved I felt a bit .. sad. I have very fond memories of that place. I'm just too familiar with Ang Mo Kio neighborhood. I kept reminding my self to stop from becoming too melancholy, we still have loads of things to do, loads of courage to face every challenge, and we just have to keep moving forward and don't look back.
New Year 1-1-11 we've spent in Jakarta. We had to meet some people and talked about the house in Cianjur that we've sold but we're still waiting for the last settlement. We also met some good friends, it's like a reunion and a farewell at the same time ...
I guess, moving on is simple, what you leave behind that makes it difficult ... every time ;-)
