.. you get jerked one way and another, and you never know what's around the corner, but you just got to enjoy the ride!.
That's how I felt these days .. and I can't complain. I wanted to shout out loud, actually .. but I couldn't. I just can't. I need to calm my self down, swallowed everything, digest all problems one by one, slowly sorting out and accept what should I do next, how to adapt in every awkward situations that I have to face lately.
Everything started when husband told us that we're going to move back to Geneva in the beginning of January, that means I had to resigned from work at least 2 months prior to the departure date, which I've already done.
Then came a news that the HR people in Geneva haven't done anything for our entry permit to Switzerland and it's already end of November. So our departure date must be pushed to February. Another problem arose: we can't stay in our recent address, the landlord have found a buyer so our tenancy must ended by the end of this year. Where to go? where to live? how about our belongings? packed and where to put them? ... those things haunted me for weeks .. but thank God, once again, if there's seem that we're headed to a cul-de-sac with no clue, and we believe in God's power above anything, He gives us a way ... and all of our problems solved one by one ...
We have a temporary accommodation for 2 months (during our waiting time) paid by the company. Our belongings will be packed before Christmas and will be placed in a warehouse in Singapore before it's time to move them out to Switzerland. Kids can still go to school until February holiday (vacances fevrier) and we'll also be moving back to Geneva during that time.
I keep on praying that everything will go smoothly according to the plan and schedule. Tomorrow at midnight husband will travel to Geneva until 8th December. He will look for an apartment, finalize his contract and starts working for his new role. Hopefully he'll have a safe and pleasant trip to Geneva and safely come back home to us ...
