He turned 41 last Friday.
Since a week before I was thinking of making a "surprise dinner" for him, but I guess it didn't work out as planned. So I had to make plan B: bought some presents for him, from me it's a winter shawl and a hat (as he'll go on a trip to Geneva on Sunday night) and a new tie from the girls. I also bought a black forest cake then invited some good friends to have dinner with us in some restaurant as I thought he deserves a little celebration for the new job in Geneva, for the good grades at school, for our 13th anniversary and some other good things that had happened to us these couple of months.
And the most important thing is he's really happy, he had a great time eating, make jokes and laughing that night, it released all the tension he had from working and studying for his grad school's last term examination.
