Rentrée scolaire 2010-2011... C'est parti !
Et voila c'est reparti pour une nouvelle année scolaire pour le LFS.
Les 255 nouvelles familles ont pu découvrir, le mardi 31 août lors de la réunion d'accueil, une nouvelle école et obtenir toutes les informations nécessaires pour la rentrée autour des stands d'informations qui leurs étaient proposés.
Pour l'ensemble des élèves de l'école primaire ce fut la découverte de nouveaux locaux. Nous nous retrouvons cette année sur un même campus suite aux 2 années de travaux qui ont permis à notre bel établissement de s'agrandir pour accueillir dans les meilleures conditions les 1780 élèves et 200 personnels qui faisaient leur rentrée le jeudi 2 septembre. Les effectifs du LFS en ce jeudi 2 septembre :
- à la Maternelle :360
- à l'élémentaire : 755
- au collège : 430 - au lycée : 235
Today is the first day at school, the first duty for me too. Many unprepared things and actions from all service. Foods in the canteen were not ready yet when the 1st group came in, the kids needed to wait for their foods causing delay, so they didn't get the ice cream for dessert because they simply didn't have enough time when the 2nd group came in.
During recess, I had to take two kids had to school nurse because they fell down, nothing serious but I thought I better put them in the right place and in the right hands.
School finished, I saw a sea of children and parents who pick them up from school, children who took a school bus must lined up according to the bus number they've been given through email from the bus company. They went into their buses and when the buses moved, I looked for my own children and took them home together.
What I feel, when I saw my little girl patiently waiting for me in her class with her teacher, I felt guilty but she looked happy once she saw me and her big sis came to pick her up. I know all we need is just getting used to new routines, and I really hope everything will be fine and in order for next couple of days ...
